Warning!

Read this BEFORE Installing!

SpyFBI will delete all your Internet cookies! The consequences of this action could include removing the login and password information that you have chosen to be "remembered" for the Internet sites you visit. Please read and understand what this means before you install SpyFBI. Once installed, SpyFBI will run as part of the boot-up process every time your computer starts. This is necessary to obtain the desired results.
Deleting all your Internet cookies means that:
If you regularly visit sites where a login and password are required, and those sights have a little check box near the login that says something like "Remember your login on this computer?" that site is creating a cookie to remember that password. When SpyFBI runs, that cookie will be deleted, along with your login and password information. If you would like to have the login and password `remembered', you will need to use Firefox or similar browser that has a remember feature build into it. This way you control your security and not some website through a wide-open cookie.

SpyFBI will also delete all files stored in the default Windows temporary folders.
Deleting all files stored in your Windows temporary folders means that:
If you store data files in your temporary folders, SpyFBI will delete them. (We are talking about the Windows system temporary folders, not a folder called TEMP that you may have created in My Documents.) If you are not sure about the exact location of the temporary folders, you may want to check the Folder List for your windows version under appendix A.

Temporary folders are intended to hold temporary data, not data you want to save. SpyFBI runs at startup and there should be no temporary files being used yet. Whatever application created the files that exist in the temporary at that time should have finished with them before the restart occurred. Therefore all files in the system temporary folders should be available for deletion. This should not be a problem for 99.9% of users, however I did see one person using their system temp directory folder for storing documents they were planning to copy to another location. This is the reason for this warning. If you happen to be storing information in a system temporary folder that you would like to keep, please move it somewhere else before installing SpyFBI.

If you don't understand these consequences, do not install SpyFBI until you do. Please read all accompanying documentation and, if needed, speak with your computer technician.
